The ‘Yorkshire Terriers’ managed a late start after Oliver’s strict bike cleaning regime. The normal 6.30am alarm was generously put back to 7.30am with an on the saddle time of 9am!!
They managed to lose the first 90 minutes circumnavigating Narbonne, but at least they didn’t get lost and found all the right routes skirting Perpignan, Port Vendres, Banylus and began the climb to the border.
What a great day, the sun was shining, the wind was behind them and they all rode hard like 7 Bradley’s!! They could almost smell the Paella!!!
After a long 95.6 miles all 7 riders, and the support team, made it to a sunny Espana!!
Total mile for the trip: 848 miles
- Time in the saddle: 54.38 hours
- Average speed over 848 miles: 15.5mph
